外国人投資家 ７年ぶり３カ月連続で売り越し 日本離れ加速
株式市場の売買代金のうち６～７割を握る外国人投資家が、今年１月は３カ月連続で売り越していたことがわかった。外国人による３カ月連続の売り越しは、平成１２年９～１１月以来、７年２カ月ぶり。世界的な株安連鎖で、ヘッジファンドなど機関投資家が現金化を急いでいるため。買いの主役が日本株離れを加速しており、先行きに不透明感が増している。
東京証券取引所が７日発表した東京、大阪、名古屋３市場の１月（４日～２月１日）の投資主体別動向によると、外国人投資家の売り越し額は７２５９億円だった。売り越しの規模は、最近ではサブプライムローンショックで１兆円超となった昨年８月に次ぐ。
世界的な相場低迷で、「売却益が見込める日本株を手放す海外の機関投資家が増えている」（日興コーディアル証券）。
日経平均株価は、４日の大発会で７年ぶりの株価下落となるなど年初から売りが先行。２２日には１７年９月以来、２年４カ月ぶりの１万２５００円台にまで落ち込んだ。
国内の政局不安もあり、「日本に魅力を感じない海外投資家が多い」（新光総合研究所投資分析部の稲垣智博クオンツアナリスト）などと買い手不在が続きそうだ。
一方、個人投資家は２０１８億円と５カ月ぶりに買い越しに転じたほか、事業法人は株式持ち合いの拡大で３２５２億円と１２カ月連続で買い越しとなった。
