【超硬工具市場拡大続く】
超硬工具協会まとめによると、超硬工具出荷額は07年3,503億円と4年連続で過去最高を更新した。直近の昨年12月も前年同月比＋7.1％と64ヶ月連続して前年同月を上回る。超硬工具の関連銘柄では日立ツール（5963）、ダイジェット工業（6138）、ＯＳＧ（6136）、富士精工（6142）、ユニオンツール（6278）などが挙げられる。
【ＩＴ投資活発】
日産自動車（7201）は開発・販売効率化推進のため、約1,000億円のＩＴ投資を今後3年間で実施する模様。特に次世代ＣＡＤも導入する構え。自動車業界向けＣＡＤ関連銘柄では、ＩＳＩＤ（4812）、アルゴグラフィックス（7595）などが挙げられる。
【一般炭市況一段高】
発電用石炭である一般炭市況が上昇傾向にある。石炭販売会社では、住友石炭鉱業（1503）、三井松島産業（1518）、三井鉱山（3315）。また権益関連銘柄では商社が挙げられ、三井物産（8031）や三菱商事（8058）、丸紅（8002）など。
