東京株式市場では、日経平均が反発。６月限先物・オプションＳＱ（特別清算指数）が１万４０００円台で決まったあとは先物主導で下げる場面もみられたものの、後場に入って国内勢の買いが入ったことから再び堅調に転じた。ただ、様子見ムードが強く方向感は乏しいという。
東証１部の騰落数は、値上がり４９０銘柄に対し値下がり１１５２銘柄、変わらずが８４銘柄だった。
